Dynasty? Greatest Coach Ever?

Well, another Superbowl has come and gone. Who would have thought in today's era of free agency and parity in the NFL that a team like the Patriots could even exist? They have now won 3 of the last 4 superbowls and deserve the "Dynasty" tag just as much as the Steelers of the 70's, the 49'ers of the 80's or the Cowboys of the 90's. To accomplish what Bill Belichick has accomplished simply boggles the mind. He has a 10-1 record in the postseason and is a perfect 9-0 in the postseason with New England. While this is impressive in its own right, he had been able to accomplish this in a game where stars rarely stay with the same teams any more because of free agency and salary caps.

There are obviously names you know on the Patriots, but Superstars???? Not very many. Perhaps we would now have to label the ever-consistent and unshakable Tom Brady as a superstar, but beyond him, there are simply good players made great by a great coach, Bill Belichick, and great schemes (devised by the same great coach.) This win guarantees an enshrinement in Canton for Coach Belichick. Congratulations Pats on another great win! Looks like a great year to have been a "New-Englander!"
